Welcome to Parmind β€” your digital brain for saving knowledge, organising and connecting information and accessing everything through a digital assistant.
Let’s walk through a few key concepts to help you get started:
πŸ—‚ Items
Everything you save in Parmind is called an item. This could be a note, an idea, a link, a book summary, a code snippet, or anything else you want to remember. Just drop it in β€” Parmind will handle the rest.
πŸ“ Areas
Think of areas as folders, but smarter. They help you group related items together by topic, project, or purpose. For example, you might create areas like Workshops, Product Ideas, or Books to Read. You can always rename or reorganise them later. Area management is done on the explorer tab.
πŸ’‘ Area Suggestions
When you add a new item, Parmind can suggest an area for it automatically. These suggestions are based on the content of the item and how you've organised things in the past. You can accept a suggestion with one click β€” or choose a different area if it fits better.
πŸ€– Meet Parmenides
Your built-in assistant, Parmenides, helps you search, recall, and connect your thoughts across all your areas. It’s like having a second brain that never forgets β€” always ready to bring the right information to the surface.

In summary, the best way to get started is by adding knowledge to your mind, the more you add, the smarter and more helpful it becomes.
